Bremer

The JBS Bremer Cold Store is a company-owned facility located on the same site as the JBS Brisbane FoodPartners value-added facility and the JBS Australia corporate office. The Bremer Cold Store has a capacity to store approximately 2,200 pallets of frozen product with three loading docks. Bremer Cold Store also has a blast freezing capacity of 3,600 cartons daily to assist the Queensland plants with their excess blast freezing requirements. The Bremer Cold Store turns over approximately 100,000 cartons weekly, working a two-shift operation Monday through Friday, with approximately 28 JBS team members.

Bremer Cold Store is conveniently located on Government Approved Heavy Vehicle Mass Limits road routes leading to the Port of Brisbane, the major export port for the State of Queensland. Bremer is located approximately one hour by road to Brisbane Port.

Hemmant

JBS Hemmant Cold Store is the major distribution and cold storage facility for the JBS Queensland sites of Townsville, Rockhampton, Beef City and Dinmore. The cold store has 13 loading docks and a holding capacity of approximately 4,000 frozen pallets in a seven-high, double-deep racking configuration and 2,200 chilled pallets in a six-high, double-deep racking configuration. The Hemmant Cold Store turns over approximately 250,000 cartons weekly and employs approximately 75 JBS team members

Brooklyn

The JBS Brooklyn Cold Store is the largest cold store facility in the JBS Australia Southern Division. The cold store has 13 loading docks and currently has a holding capacity of approximately 4,000 frozen pallets and 1,400 chilled pallets over four separate cold rooms in a combination of five-high, double-deep and six-high, single-deep racking configurations. The cold store turns over approximately 180,000 cartons weekly and employs approximately 51 JBS team members in the dispatch and warehousing areas.

The Brooklyn Cold Store receives fresh lamb and beef products from the on-site JBS Brooklyn processing plant on a daily basis and distributes fresh and frozen product to both domestic and international export markets. Brooklyn serves as a hub for the JBS abattoirs in the Southern region, accommodating their surplus production for both blast freezing and storage.
